EXHIBITIONPop and the Street
Art-Box.Store, in collaboration with Galerie l’Entrepôt, presents “Pop and the Street”, around the work of three artists.
Jean Antoine Hierro (Casablanca, 1960), has been living in Nice, influenced the artistic context of the School of Nice. Designer, painter, scenographer and musician, he is in constant search of new adventures.
Manou Marzban (Geneva, 1962) is Iranian-American and was privy to both the extravagance of diplomatic life and the frightening political climate of a country poised for revolution and turmoil. His art is often infused with symbols and references to popular culture and historical personalities.
Joris Brantuas (Lille, 1978) lives and works in the South-East of France. His painting is « free abstraction, » which sees figurative painting as abstract. Based of principle that the act of painting is a performance, he regularly performs in various public spaces: such as MOMA or Gagosian Gallery in York, Venice Biennale, Pompidou Center, Louis Vuitton Foundation, amongst many other.
