The gallery was founded in 1976 by Kamil, an interior designer, avid collector and committed patron of the arts. Driven by the desire to pass on his passion to future generations, he has built a reputation for exhibiting avant-garde works of art. <\/p>\n

The gallery’s curatorial approach emphasizes experimentation and the promotion of new and innovative forms of artistic expression, often presented in immersive environments.<\/p>\n

Galerie Kamil is located in the charming Larvotto district, at 3 avenue Princesse Grace, just opposite the new Mareterra building complex. This gallery, rich in history, offers a warm and friendly welcome. What’s more, you can enjoy a pleasant stroll along the seafront to complete your visit. <\/p>\n

Eric Massholder, For Vincent : Timeless Connections<\/h2>\n

Through opulent colors, intense drawing and total plastic freedom, Massholder’s series – drawing on Post-Impressionism, Dadaism and more – show us the man in profile, as well as his incredible influence on contemporary art. <\/p>\n

However, a visit to this exhibition also reveals a more intimate affinity between these two artists, who are separated by more than a century. Linked by the same creative frenzy set with humility, both living against the tide and driven by a fascination for life bordering on the sublime, Pour Vincent : connexions intemporelles<\/em> uses the self-portraits of one to portray the other. Mystic Reality<\/em><\/h2>\n

\nThrough large-scale paintings, he invites the public to participate in ceremonial events where dance, music, drink and food give rise to festive gatherings. Here, these events take on an exceptional dimension, as the main guests and hosts are extraterrestrials.
\nNon-human figures have been the subject of many of Massholder's works, from the Mighty Father and His Son to Mickey Ganesh and the Alien series, he has created characters who incarnate in a variety of forms.
