etween Passing Lights suggests movement, transition, and the shared atmosphere across the works of Fan Qiu, Mark Posey, Vladinsky, Ly\u00e8s, Marie Pol, Ayobola Kekere Ekun, Nemo Jantzen, Fabio La Fauci and Wang Ai\u2019s – capturing fleeting moments, inner states and the tension between presence and distance.<\/p>\n

In Night Passenger (2022)<\/i>, a solitary figure drifts through the dim hush of night, suspended between departure and arrival. Fan Qiu captures the quiet intimacy of transit – those in-between moments where time loosens and thought deepens. The glow of artificial light brushes against darkness, suggesting both isolation and reflection. The passenger is neither fully present nor absent, but caught in a fleeting state of introspection. Qiu invites us to consider the emotional landscapes we carry while moving through physical space: memory, longing, and the subtle tension of the unknown. In this nocturnal stillness, the journey itself becomes the destination and the ordinary transforms into something quietly profound.<\/p>\n[\/vc_column_text]\n\n\n\t\t\t\t

Unveiling the tensions between beauty, conflict, and capitalism<\/em>[\/heading][vc_column_text css=”” text_direction=”default”]Bran is a British sculptor, artist, and photographer known for transforming instruments of war into powerful works of art. A former member of the British Special Forces, he redefines symbols of conflict, capitalism, and resilience through his innovative sculptures.<\/p>\n

Born in 1971 in Enfield, UK, Bran began as a photographer before joining the British Army Special Forces Reserves in 2004. His deployment to Helmand Province, Afghanistan, marked a turning point. There, he documented Afghan National Police officers who decorated their AK-47s with stickers, roses, and charms\u2014symbolic acts of resilience that humanized weapons of destruction.<\/p>\n

This experience became the foundation of Bran\u2019s artistic vision: \u201cThe whole premise of my work is to simply disarm the weapon, taking something of mass destruction and transforming it into art. I use paper currency which represents capitalism, and the butterflies are a representation of mother nature taking over man-made tools and they also represent the lost souls taken by the deadly weapon.\u201d[\/vc_column_text]\n\n\n\t\t\t\t

An oscillating movement designed to interfere with pictorial coherence, Anne Von Freyburg’s discipline consciously centralizes the woman as subject rather than object.<\/p>\n

Venus, the goddess of love and beauty, has been at the forefront of idolized female forms, which are still closely linked to mainstream culture today. This series urges the artist to go beyond the tightly controlled boundaries imposed on female attributes. His aim is to free himself from these limitations, reflected in his unbridled and unashamed use of color, form and medium that is not confined to a restrictive frame or canvas.<\/p>\n

With this visceral yet seductive new work, she has the autonomy to
